Because now that I keep a weekly success journal I not only reflect on present success but also get to feel good about the successes of the past few weeks and months too. If I have a worry bead, I write it down as a question and I usually find that my sub-conscious has been working on it for the week and I get an answer back the next time I look at it. You just can't go wrong if you do this stuff regularly!!!

Hello! I've just joined this forum after as a regular browsing this site so I thought why not join in the fun ! I have a pesronal interest in womens progresion in the workplace and I have recently completed my management report at Coventry University on female progression within the construction industry at my organisation which today I have found out I have passed yippee! I thought I would drop you a line to say this website was very useful when writing my literature review as the articles on here were provided some great literature so THANK YOU! I'll be continuing to use this website as a tool to keep updated with diversity issues and in particular female progression,

I'm feeling great today...because I've finally finished closing down one chapter of my life and I'm starting a new one. Unfortunately I had to take the really hard decision (but the right one) to place one of my first companies into dormancy this last month. This has been because of the Global Credit Crunch (and it was a property company so hey it was sort of to be expected!) HOWEVER...in true bouncy ball style - it has opened more avenues for me. I've got another company which is still SME but attracting interest from a major corporate in the sector which is great news, i've been approached on 2 non exec roles which I've now got the time to pursue if I wish, I've got offers of consultancy work coming in (perversely in change management and redundancy - asomething I hoped I've never be seen as an expert in - but there you go!!) and I've been making BioDiesel for personal use and I'm thinking with my business head on that now is the time to think about putting it into production perhaps?? So the "down" has been a low swing down but already the up swing is in full tilt and in a way I'm glad today to be free of the burden of yesterday's business, so I can get on with today's! Funny how it works eh? ;-)
